Well it's official Michael Vick plead guilty to the dogfighting conspiracy charges. His lawyers are seeking a reduced sentence of 12-18 months in prison. But the judge has said that he is not bound by his lawyers recomendations or is he bound by the sentencing law. Michael Vick could face anywhere from 12 months to more then 5 years.
In my opinion the more he gets the better. The NFL has suspended Vick indefinetly so he lost his indorsment deals that where worth more then 20 million US and his contract with the Atlanta Falcons is nul and void wich was worth more then 100 million US.
Takes some kind of fool to risk that kind of money to place 50000$ bets on dog fights. Takes some kind of person to use dogs to fight and make money when you don't even need it, and one sick individual to kill dogs in the manner most of then dogs were killed for losing fights.

- Beatings with various tools
- Drowning
- Hanging
It is my hope that he gets maximum penalty for his crimes, dogfighting is not a sport because the dog never really wins. Only the owners do, making money on an animals demise. Make an example out of Vick to discourage anyone from doing business and making money in this sick and cruel so called sport.
